On August 10, the Suli Machinery (Yancheng) Research and Development Center officially commenced operations. Located in the New City Business Center of Yandu District, Yancheng, this center was established with the support and care of the district government. Remarkably, it took less than three months from signing the contract to becoming fully operational. The R&D center houses more than 50 professional technical research staff and covers an area of 2,000 square meters, adequately meeting the design, R&D, and office requirements of its specialist personnel.
The Suli Machinery (Yancheng) R&D Center is a newly established department by Jiangsu Suli Machinery Co., Ltd. to meet its development needs. The primary focus of the center is on building an industrial internet platform system for the coating equipment industry. The aim is to develop a fully digitalized operation and maintenance service platform tailored to the coating sector, improve spraying methods, optimize production processes, and enhance the 3D integration of plant layout, comprehensive line design, and simulation capabilities. These improvements will propel the company's growth towards higher levels of sophistication, environmental sustainability, and intelligence.
Currently, the coating industry is at a critical juncture of transformation and upgrading. Suli Machinery is proactively adapting to the evolving landscape by increasing investment and expediting its transformation. In recent years, the company has invested 50 million yuan to establish the wholly-owned subsidiary Ruierda, acquired 50 acres of land, and invested 130 million yuan to build an intelligent coating project. The newly inaugurated Yancheng R&D Center this month represents another strategic measure in this transformation and upgrading effort.
In addition to its collaboration with Shandong University, the Suli Machinery (Yancheng) R&D Center has this year initiated industry-academia-research cooperation with Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. This collaboration is expected to continuously infuse the company with fresh talent and drive innovation, leading to significant breakthroughs in the high-quality development of the coating industry. This will contribute new and greater strengths to making China's coating industry more advanced, intelligent, and environmentally sustainable.
